M.S. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology - University of Tennessee, Chattanooga
B.A. in Anthropology - University of Tennessee, Chattanooga

As someone with deep roots in the southeast Tennessee/north Georgia region, it is my passion to see more people in our region earn college degrees. It is the key to economic growth and the overall vitality of this wonderful place we call home.

Ephesians 3:20- “Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.”
Debbie Adams

Debbie Adams, Assistant Director of Admission

B.A. in Humanities – Roberts Wesleyan College
EMT-Paramedic – Erie Community College

During the 17 years I worked as an emergency responder, one of my biggest strengths was putting patients at ease and helping them to push fear aside as they faced an unexpected illness or injury. I utilize that same strength now as I help working adults navigate the uncertainties of returning to school while juggling the demands of family and career. There will be good days and there will be bad days. But the end result will be worth it. I have yet to meet anyone who regretted finishing their degree.

Joshua 1:9 – “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Larissa McCuthchen, Campus Coordinator Larissa McCutchen, Assistant Director of Admission

Master of Business Administration - Belhaven University
B.S. in Organizational Management - Covenant College

People’s lives are busy with work and family so returning to school can seem daunting. Here’s what I did when I finished my MBA at Belhaven. I set a date with myself to study throughout the week. As I prepared my calendar for other social events I also included study time. This helped relieve my stress, knowing I did have time planned throughout the week for study. Belhaven University believes in every adult student. We’re here to help you reach you goal!

Psalm 103:1 - “Bless the LORD, O my soul, And all that is within me, bless His holy name.”
Carol Pierce, Assistant Director of Admissions Carol Pierce, Campus Coordinator/Admission Assistant

B.S. in Organizational Management - Covenant College

I love it when new students enter Belhaven University. It is such a blessing to be able to help them as they achieve the long-awaited goal of a college degree.  My desire is to be a smiling face at the front desk, a helpful resource when needed, and an encourager as they travel the path to graduation.

Galatians 2:20- “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I but Christ who lives in me; and the life which I live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”

B. S. in Psychology & Biblical Studies – Grace University

As students endeavor to make their way along the path God has set before them, it is always helpful to have an advocate who will come alongside them to assist them in maneuvering through unfamiliar territory and helping them to find answers to questions that arise. I was blessed to have such a person when returning to school in an accelerated adult program and that is what I see to be my role here at Belhaven. It is very rewarding when a student’s burden is lightened by any assistance I can give them on the road of academia.

Colossians 3:17: Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus.

I enjoy seeing students reach their educational goals. I am honored to assist each student who comes to Belhaven to obtain their undergraduate or graduate degree.

I Peter 1: 3, 4- Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to obtain an inheritance which is imperishable and undefiled and will not fade away, reserved in heaven for you.
